Abracs recently backed student Alex Baldwin in his pursuit to compete in his first ever Motorsport race as part of his upcoming documentary! Alex kindly took some time out to chat with us and answer a few questions about his experience from the desk to the track and give us an insight into just how difficult a journey it can be into motorsport!

A spirited performance from Daniel Lloyd during last weekend’s third TCR China meeting of the season rewarded the Dongfeng Honda Racing team driver with pole position and a double podium on the Zhejiang International circuit (July 5-7).

Daniel Lloyd has his eyes firmly on the prize this coming weekend as the TCR China series heads to Zhejiang International Circuit in Shaoxing for the third race meeting of the 2019 championship campaign (6/7 July). Yorkshireman Lloyd returns to the 3.2km circuit where he contested the 2017 TCR International Series in winning form after dominating the TCR China and TCR Asia mixed field in Shanghai last month.

June 23rd saw 8 Abracs Warriors take on the demanding 12km route around the stunning grounds of Bramham Park in Leeds for the 2019 edition of Total Warrior. As part of a series of challenges spread throughout 2019, the Warriors were running, jumping, plunging and climbing to raise money for the charity Shelter. Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support and legal services, hoping one day, no one will have to turn to them for help.

Daniel Lloyd has extended his lead at the top of the TCR China Championship standings, after dominating the weekend’s race action on the Shanghai International Circuit (1/2 June).

The Huddersfield-based racer qualified second as part of the Dongfeng Honda Racing Team’s commanding front-row lock-out for the weekend’s opening race. Taking the race lead from his team-mate on lap 6, Lloyd pulled a significant 4-second lead ahead of the pack to take the chequered flag in his MacPro Racing-run Honda Civic Type R.

TCR UK Champion Daniel Lloyd re-joins the Dongfeng Honda Racing Team in China this coming weekend as the TCR China series reconvenes for rounds 3 & 4 on the Shanghai International Circuit (1/2 June).

At 6:30am on Saturday 18th May we all met at Abracs to embark on a new challenge, Scafell Pike. A 12 strong team drove the 3 hours to the base of the mountain at Wasdale Head and by 10am we set off walking to the highest point in England.
